Exhibition Highlights
Amidst rapid changes across the global automotive market, Taiwan Transportation Guide (TTG), published by
Economic Daily News / CENS, continues to connect international procurement buyers with Taiwan’s automotive
supply chain through industry-focused sourcing and market coverage. From traditional components to
automotive electronics and intelligent mobility, TTG highlights emerging technologies, market trends, and
selected suppliers aligned with the evolving global market demand.
Automechanika Frankfurt
(Frankfurt, September 8–12, 2026)
Automechanika Frankfurt remains one of the most influential global automotive trade fairs
for international buyers, distributors, and aftermarket professionals. Held biennially in
Germany, the exhibition reflects structural shifts reshaping the sector,
including electrification, SDVs, connectivity, digitalization,
sustainability, and new mobility concepts. Vehicle electronics
are becoming central to intelligent servicing
systems and integrated mobility. This year,
Automechanika Frankfurt continues to stay
ahead of the curve, introducing the new
“HighTech4Mobility” forum, which focuses
on SDVs, sustainability, workforce development,
and future automotive technologies.
In 2024, the show hosted 4,132 exhibitors from
76 countries with 107,000 visitors from 172 countries. Major visitor markets include Germany, China, Italy,
Poland, France, and the United Kingdom. The exhibition spanned a breadth and depth of aftermarket sectors,
including automotive parts & components, electrical & electronic systems, diagnostics & repair, connectivity
& autonomous driving, tires & wheels, car care & detailing, customization, and accessories. This year, a new
segment “Wheels Management & Tire Service” will debut in the motorsport applications. Automechanika
Frankfurt reflects Europe’s automotive aftermarket transition as it shifts toward value creation in technical
servicing and systemized solutions.
Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX)
(Las Vegas, November 3–5, 2026)
The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is
one of North America’s premier automotive aftermarket trade
shows. Held annually in Las Vegas, the exhibition represents
USD 2.3 trillion of the global automotive aftermarket industry. It
brings together manufacturers, distributors, independent repair
shops, and mobility service providers across the aftermarket
ecosystem. The 2026 edition is expected to host more than
2,500 exhibitors and over 45,000 visitors from the United States,
Mexico, Canada, Ecuador, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Colombia,
Sweden, and other international markets. The event will feature
more than 1,400 product categories spanning multiple sectors,
including accessories / lighting, AI technology, diagnostics /
telematics, EV and alternative fuel, Joe’s Garage, mobile heat
transfer and heating, paint & body, sustainable manufacturing,
tire services, tool & equipment, undercar, and underhood.
AAPEX 2026 will also introduce “iFlex at AAPEX” through
a partnership with the Preventive Automotive Maintenance
Association (PAMA). The expanded oil & lube maintenance
segment reflects broader industry demand for servicing
solutions as vehicle lifecycles continue extending, and workshop
operators adapt to complex vehicle technologies. Under the
theme, “Where the Industry Gets Real,” AAPEX continues
emphasizing practical business outcomes, technical training, and
hands-on service applications. Educational programs and live
demonstrations will focus on diagnostics, EV servicing, and ADAS
calibration, highlighting how the North American aftermarket is
increasingly driven by repair and maintenance efficiency, as well
as technology service operations.
